INGENION MEDICAL APPOINTS NATIONAL SALES MANAGER TO LEAD UK LAUNCH OF CYMACTIVE™
Ingenion Medical Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Lana Martin as National Sales Manager, as the company accelerates the UK commercial launch of its cymactive™ 2.0R Bladder Management System for men with non-neurogenic chronic urinary retention.
The appointment follows Ingenion Medical’s recent framework agreement with NHS Supply Chain, enabling cymactive™ to be supplied to NHS hospitals across the UK.
cymactive™ is the first in a planned range of Ingenion Medical devices designed to address chronic urinary control conditions. The system incorporates a magnetically controlled valve and is designed to offer appropriate patients an alternative approach to managing chronic urinary retention.

“She has since spent nearly seven years specialising in the urology medical device sector, most recently with Olympus Urology, where she was one of the company’s leading sales performers nationally. Her clinical background, extensive experience within NHS urology and established relationships with leading urologists across the UK give her a valuable understanding of both the patient and clinician perspective.
“Combined with her track record of successfully introducing new technologies into clinical practice, this makes Lana ideally placed to lead the UK commercialisation of cymactive™.
“Following our recent agreement with NHS Supply Chain, we are entering an important phase for Ingenion. Our priority is now to ensure that clinicians and appropriate patients have the opportunity to understand and access this new approach to bladder management, and Lana will play a central role in driving that forward.”
