cymactive™ is an innovative, patient-controlled urinary catheter that transforms long-term catheter care for men with chronic urinary retention. It has a fully internal design with only two fine threads remaining externally visible – there is no external tube or bag, as is typical with Foley catheters. An external magnet (provided) opens the internal valve, allowing patients to control their own urination.

cymactive™ requires insertion and removal by a medical professional, such as a urologist or nurse, with experience in the insertion and removal of urethral catheters. We do not advise that a patient should remove the catheter themselves.
